Applying For Funds

MindCare accepts funding proposals / applications for special projects, scholarships and mental health research.
The Granting Process for Special Projects
MindCare will accept applications for funding throughout the year. When all relevant information has been supplied, the MindCare Committee will review the proposal. This process usually takes approximately four to six weeks, therefore, you are encouraged to provide ALL information two months in advance so that no unnecessary delays are encountered.
It is understood that, should you apply to or receive funds from MindCare New Brunswick, you are in agreement with the following guidelines which apply to educational financial assistance:

MindCare New Brunswick will not provide financial support to any "profit making" training venture. In some cases, if a registration fee is to be charged, requests for funds to supplement the training to MindCare will be entertained "up to" a certain amount.

Since monies are limited and demand is great, it is assumed that applicants for funding have exhausted all other sources of alternative funding available to them (I.e., union, departmental, corporation, government training dollars).

All monies received will be spent only on items specified in this document and all monies unspent will be returned to MindCare New Brunswick.

MindCare New Brunswick will be provided with a written accounting of how the money was spent and the benefits that were derived, immediately following the educational projects.

Acknowledgement in all printed materials and other marketing instruments of MindCare's sponsorship is mandatory. It is this type of promotional activity that assists in fundraising and thereby replenishment of MindCare resources.
